Jean Larrivee began building classical guitars in his home from 1968 to 1970. He built his first small steel string guitar in 1971, and continued to develop his distinctive shapes and structural bracing patterns that produce a projecting, balanced tone with a solid tight bass, strong mid-range, and crystal clear highs. Beautiful inlays and details make every Larrivee unique.
Introduced in 2015, Leho guitars were overseen by the Larrivee company as a more affordable quality instrument. The response has been overwhlemingly positive thus far, with people taking note of the all-solid wood construction and an included hardshell case.
