PLEASE NOTE: ALL USED & CONSIGNMENT PURCHASES ARE FINAL SALES, NO RETURNS
Here we have a choice instrument from local luthier and builder Rono! This is his acoustic fretless bass, made with fine cuts of “master grade” Indian rosewood on the back & sides, sitka spruce for the top, and a neck and fingerboard crafted out of mahogany and ebony. The choices and quality of wood used on this instrument give it a beautiful acoustic tone featuring a great low-end response with articulate and warm mids. The construction doesn’t end with just the woods, as Rono also applied curly maple binding for strong resonance, and individual bracing for each string slot. Rono put just as much thought into the tone of this bass when plugged into an amp, featuring a great selection of electronics. Each string has a piezo pickup to create an even response amongst each string, all running through a Fishman 9v preamp. Rono is offering a setup for the buyer of this bass, setting the playability to the buyer's specs to make you as happy as can be with it! Sold with a hybrid case, this bass is one definitely worth checking out!
