This cutaway Grand Auditorium, their most versatile body shape, pairs Indian rosewood back and sides, featuring a Kona edgeburst, with a natural Lutz spruce top. Indian rosewood, one of the most musically rich tonewoods, yields deep lows and bright, sparkling treble notes that ring out with bell-like clarity. Its Lutz spruce top produces a broad dynamic range with extra volume, projection and sustain thanks to tone-enhancing V-Class bracing inside. The body is finished with smooth, noise-reducing Silent Satin finish and has chamfered edges, a Curve Wing ebony bridge, and a beveled armrest and cutaway. Even the fretboard has rolled edges for a more comfortable playing experience. Visual details include a mother-of-pearl peghead logo, paua/mother-of-pearl inlays with a Belle Fleur design, a single-ring paua rosette with an ebony-bound soundhole and koa purfling on the fretboard and peghead purfling.
