Now, dreadnoughts are not for everyone, but this model from Takamine was constructed to be more contoured to the player, providing more comfort than you get from most dreadnoughts. One of the best features of this guitar is its projection, attributed to its body shape and tonewoods. In true Martin fashion, Takamine constructed this guitar with a solid spruce top, and mahogany back & sides. This blend of woods provides you with a sweet and sensitive response from the top, and a balanced and full projection from the back & sides. Being a 48 year old instrument, the woods on this guitar have also aged to perfection, and give this guitar an extra richness that can only be achieved with age. Sold with a hard case, this is one of our favorites in the shop!
