This is a grand auditorium body shape from Taylor, slightly smaller than a dreadnought for maximum comfort, but still a large lower bout for good low end projection. This guitar is made of a solid cut of spruce on the top, paired with HPL sapele on the back and sides. Being part of the 100 series of Taylor guitars, the 114ce comes with a black binding across the top and back to aid the instrument in resonating evenly. Finally, this guitar comes equipped with Taylor’s ES2 pickup system, one of the most highly regarded pickup systems for acoustic guitars.
