Here we have an excellent amp head from the legendary amplifier company, Marshall! This is a like-new Origin 20, a 20W expressive amplifier head. The front of this head is where you find the control board for tone shaping. Located on the left, you will find the knob for power, paired with a 3-way selector that allows you to pick from low to high output, depending on the guitar you are connecting! Located next to the power, you have your two master output knobs, the first being presence which controls the body presence of the guitar. Next to that is your volume control which adjusts how many dB the amp will be pushing. To the right of the master outputs, you have a 4-band EQ to control the tone shaping of your guitar. Farthest to the right you will find the gain knob, this will give your guitar extra energy behind the signal, best tuned with the master volume knob to prevent cranking the signal too high. On the back of the amp head, you will find your outputs. You have the option to connect the amp head to either a 4, 8, or 16ohm speaker. Next to the outputs, there is the send and return loop, which allows you to run your pedalboard through the amp and gives your pedals proper conditioning to project at normal levels.
