Here we have another fantastic handmade banjo from our pal Chuck up in Gold Hill! This is a new Ute-Starr 12” openback banjo! This model consists of a Starr pot, fitted with a Ute neck! The Starr pot contains 14 brackets to hold the head taut, paired with a wooden tonebar. These handmade banjos have been a staple of Boulder since Chuck first founded OME back in the 1970s.
