Here’s a special banjo! This is a Vega Pete Seeger model, made by the Deering Banjo Company! This model is a long-neck with a 32” scale length for access to extra notes higher on the staff. Constructed in 1960, this banjo just came back from the luthiers across the street for a nice tune up! In good condition with a fresh setup, this banjo is playing well and easy with accurate intonation and comfortable action. Sold with its original hard case, this banjo is sure to satisfy some folks on the hunt for a vintage open-back!
