Here’s a special Ute banjo! From up the mountain in Gold Hill, this is the Ute “One of A Kind” an 11” openback banjo. A special feature of this Ute is the tonebar. Wound with a silver wrapping, the tonebar on this banjo provides what Chuck describes as “ultra brightness.” All features on this model are made with Chuck’s preferred woods and hardware. The pot is a standard Ute 11” with brass hardware creating a sturdy and resonant body. On the headstock, there are 4 pressure based tuners, adorned with a Buffalo nickel!
