This 1966 D-28 is a prime example of Martin at their finest. An iconic vintage dreadnought with a punchy & clear voice, made even more alluring by the condition. The neck was reset about ten years ago, so it has a very comfortable action and plays perfectly. Snowflake fret markers *might* not be original, though determined to be of the era. The original tuners and bridge were also replaced, but for the purists they are included with the original case. Inside the body, we've left a rattlesnake rattle, placed there by the original owner in the tradition of warding off vermin, preventing dust buildup and for welcoming good juju. There are some expected signs of surface wear on the body and neck, but structurally this guitar is rock solid and still has tons of life left. Solid spruce top. Solid Brazilian rosewood back & sides. Must see in person!
