This 1982 Alvarez has stood the test of time and held up terrifically. Constructed with a solid cedar top and mahogany back & sides, the wood combinations offer a distinct tonal value compared to the common spruce top. As a dreadnought, this instrument has a rich and booming projection, and 43 years of aging on the cedar which has added an extra sweetness to its tone.
