Acoustasonic or Telecoustic? Either way, here we have one of the phenomenal Fender electric-acoustics. Guitars from this line are able to be plugged into either an acoustic or electric amp, keep in mind tone will change between the two types of amplifiers. On the guitar itself, it has a 3 way pickup selector. Even though there is only one active pickup, the 3-way pickup selector functions as if there were 2 pickups (one for neck and bridge). When the pickup selector is set to neck pickup only, turning the tone knob all the way down introduces a chorus effect. When set to the bridge pickup only, turning the tone knob down introduces a phaser effect to the signal. Keeping the pickup selector in the middle position does not introduce an effect, and the tone knob works as it does on standard Telecaster models. The change in tone between acoustic and electric amps is significant, sounding much closer to each amp's respective instrument. Come on by and try out this versatile instrument from Fender!
